DT 38

I never thought I'd say one if the most important goals I'd witness would be at a testimonial.
Dean Ashton scored a beauty with a bicycle kick and although it was the classiest of the 11 scored, the moment Taylor tombides kicked his goal in the back of the net and looked straight up at the sky we all knew how much it meant to him and I realised that I and the rest of the stadium had witnessed one of the most poignant goals at the Boleyn.
The whole crowd clapped until the restart and Taylor was able to give Dylan got the send of he deserved.

Hardly important in the grand scheme of things. Even Payet's free kick against Manchester United will pale into insignificance if he scores the winner against them in the replay.
Nice that he scored, given his brother's charity was one of the benefactors, but to call it one of the most important goals in our history is an outright lie.

What an idiot you are gang.
It was a lovely moment and the kid took it so well.
The boy has absolute pace and a finish payet would have been proud of.

You might want to learn the difference between poignant and important before making a cunt of yourself.

To be fair, the opening post did describe it as one of the most important goals as well as one of the most poignant

One of the most poignant goals at the ground, yes. One of the most important, no.
Don't see a problem with that.

If Gank was a bit brighter though, he might have been able to use a bit of emotional intelligence, and perhaps understand the intent behind the whole post, rather than jumping on the literal meaning of one word as so many on here are keen to do (endlessly).

This site has become so fucking GAY now I see Gank as a breath of fresh air. Saying that, I don't think he is that controversial anyway.
And let's stop taking the piss out of KUMB, people in glass houses, etc..

Hmm. I can see PD's point at 4:56
I really like this site, but Gank's posts are like an antidote to the girly-men on here with their mawkish emotional incontinence, and the neurotically right-on.
